Want to discover Almere's food environment? Get on your bike and explore the city. Almere has a lot to offer in terms of food, thanks in part to the city's 187 ethnic groups. Because of this cultural diversity, you can find so many special flavours and products in the city. First of all, of course, at the toko. But for the series 'Taste seekers on Wheels', Almere's Sharon de Miranda and Nadia Zerouali mainly went in search of local ingredients. Did you know that madame jeanette peppers just grow in Almere? And Lebanese flatbread is baked? But of course they also wanted to learn more about Flevoland's pride: the potato and the onion. Every kitchen uses these products as staples.
