Besides taking care of the bees, Beekeeping KirstenBosch grows fruit and vegetables and picks fruit and herbs wild from nature. All kinds of goodies are made from these. You can buyvarious products such as honey, jam, chutney, vinegar and beeswax products in the web shop and at home.
At Imkerij KirstenBosch, much attention and care is given to creating a suitable habitat for all kinds of insects: honeybees, bumblebees, solitary bees, hoverflies, butterflies, birds, etc.. The garden is decorated with plants and shrubs that provide pollen, nectar and berries. The ornamental garden is modelled after Piet Oudolf: with ornamental grasses and lush plants. Workshops and guided tours on bees and biodiversity are also held here.
