Tips for Sinterklaas in Almere

Sinterklaas is back in the country and so we can once again enjoy delicious ginger nuts, chocolate letters and other sweets. If you are looking for fun tips to get into the Saint Nicholas mood, that's a good thing! We have listed the best tips and activities for a lovely evening or afternoon in Almere.

Here comes the steamboat from Spain again!

On Saturday 15 November, Sinterklaas will dock in Almere Haven. The party starts at 10.45 am with music and dancing, and at 11.30 am the Sint will arrive in the Havenkom. Together with his Pieten, he will provide a cheerful spectacle full of surprises. Put on your best outfit and come and welcome him at the waterfront!

Sintparade Almere Centrum

On Saturday 15 November, Sinterklaas and his Pieten will also pass through Almere Centrum during the cheerful Sintparade. At 14:30, the parade will depart from the Esplanade - with music, dancing, stiltwalkers and lots of celebration! Around 16:00, the parade ends at the Stationsplein. Will you come and wave to Saint Nicholas too?

Sinterklaas parade in Nobelhorst

He's almost here... and for real! On Saturday 15 November, Sinterklaas will dock in Almere Nobelhorst' s Dorpshaven. The Saint will be festively welcomed by happy children and his cheerful soot-swept peeps. Afterwards, the party will move to the Brink, where music will be playing, peppercorns will be flying around and fun cannot be missed!

Sinterklaasintocht Almere Buiten

After his journey across the country, Sinterklaas will of course also come to Almere Buiten! On Saturday 22 November, he will arrive at Almere Buiten Station by train from Lelystad at around 11 a.m.. A festive afternoon full of music, dancing and fun will start there. Will you come and welcome Saint Nicholas and join the party in Almere Buiten?

Help Saint Nicholas on the beach!

Panic on the Almeerderstrand! The code of the chest with the Big Book of Sinterklaas has disappeared. Help Saint Nicholas find the code on Sunday 23 November during this free outdoor adventure. Put on warm clothes and come investigate - afterwards you can warm up at Strandrestaurant Poortdok.

Sinterklaas party in the city centre

On Saturday 29 November, the centre of Almere will be extra cosy! Enjoy dance performances, craft fun and of course cheerful Pieten handing out peppercorns everywhere. Come along, join in and taste the real Sint atmosphere in the centre!

Help Saint Nicholas on the beach again!

Sinterklaas can be found at the Almeerderstrand again on Sunday 30 November, but the code of the chest with his Big Book is still missing! Help Saint Nicholas by finding hints and solving puzzles during this free outdoor adventure by Stad & Natuur. Suitable for young and old, put on warm clothes and come investigate! Afterwards, you can warm up at Strandrestaurant Poortdok.

Sing, laugh and enjoy during the musical Sinterklaas performance for the whole family! Together with Theaterschool Almere and Sinterklaas himself, it will be a party full of songs, fun and adventure. Meet Saint Nicholas in our theatre and sing along at the top of your lungs with all the familiar Sinterklaas songs!

On 3 December, you can attend a special Pietentraining at Outdoorpark SEC Almere, with a real Pietendiploma! A super fun Sinterklaas-themed outing.
