We are happy to give you a number of tips to discover Almere in 24 hours. It is not long, but definitely worth it.

Start your day with coffee at MockaMore to relax and you are ready to start the day.

12.30 pm
Got hungry? Time to have a nice lunch at De Kapitein (open for lunch Thursday to Sunday). If the weather is nice, we recommend a spot on the terrace, you have a view over the boats and the Noorderplassen.

11.00 am
With more than 440 km of free cycle paths, the ultimate way to discover Almere by bike. To rent a (electric) bike, head for the VVV Almere Tourist Info, where you will find the best bikes at a competitive rate.

2.00 pm
Time to leave again. We cycle back to the Almere's city centre. By the way, did you know the has been named Best City Centre 2017 - 2020 of The Nederlands?

3.30 pm
Bring your bike back to the VVV Almere Tourist Info and take a nice stroll through the center of Almere. There are many shops where you can do some shopping. Don't feel like shopping? Then do the Discover Almere Tour and discover the special architecture of Almere.

4.30 pm
Time for ice cream! At Ice&Co you can eat the best ice creams. Would you rather go for a coffee? Then you are certainly at the right place here. And the tarts are really delicious.

7.00 pm
So.. time for comfort food. At Hudson Bar & Kitchen you really eat the best hamburgers in Almere. And for dessert.. the Candy Bar Coupe is highly recommended. Not in the mood for hamburgers? At Restaurantplein Belfort you can find cuisines from all over the world. From French to Japanese and from Surinam to Italian.

Is it already wine o’clock? What do you think of a nice cocktail or wine at Meat in the City or a delicious Sangria at Rosita's. Real beer lovers should definitely go to the Bierfabriek, where you can tap your own beer.

Fancy entertainment after dinner? Then grab a movie at the Kinepolis cinema or see which show is playing at Kunstlinie Theater. What will it be?
