Did you know that almost half of Almere consists of water? Time for the ultimate adrenaline rush. You get this kick while wakeboarding over the Weerwater at Cablepark VIEW Almere. Waterskiing or wakeboarding is a great experience. Prefer to take it a bit easier? Then choose to go supping.

Good Food = Good Mood, so off to restaurant NUL36 in Almere City Center. Not only the dishes are delicious, the interior is also beautiful. The terrace is also highly recommended in good weather.

4.00 pm
Want to relax? You can on the terrace of Restaurant VIEW Almere, overlooking the skyline of Almere. The chef recommends the suprise plate with delicious tapas. Enjoy the nice weather for a long time? Then choose to stay for dinner. Want to eat something else? At Restaurantplein Belfort in the city center you can find cuisines from all over the world. From French to Japanese and from Surinam to Italian.

Fancy entertainment after dinner? Then grab a movie at Kinepolis in  or quickly see which show is playing at Kunstlinie Theater.

Day 2 - Good morning

In Almere's City Centre there are buildings of world-famous architects, all on one square kilometer. Curious about the story behind this? Book a City Walk or walk in at VVV Almere Tourist Info and set off on your own with the Almere architectural tour. In this guide the buildings in Almere are compared with other designs of the same architectures, located all over the world. Really recommended!

2.00 pm
We are going to discover the beautiful nature of Almere. Time to go to the Oostvaardersplassen. With binoculars you have a great view of the largest wetland nature reserve in the Netherlands from the Nature Experience Center Oostvaarders. Do you spot the Big 5 of Almere?

12.00 am
Hungry? Time to have a nice lunch. We stay in Almere City Center and go to Bagels & Beans.

7.00 pm
We end the day at the Havenkom Area. This is where you will find many cozy cafes and restaurants. If the weather is nice, definitely look for a place on the waterfront terraces.
