Kunstlinie theater

At the Kunstlinie in Almere Centrum, right on the Weerwater, you will find cabaret, concerts, musicals, opera, theater, dance and youth theater. KAF is known for its special architectural design by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of the Japanese architectural firm SANAA following a competition among renowned architectural firms. The theater was opened in 2007 by Queen Beatrix. Did you know that the memorial stone that is placed in the floor of the centre contains a Japanese haiku? It says: "Water glass and light - monument for imagination - in a new city". The whole exterior facade of Kunstlinie is glass!

In addition to the performances, you can also rent Kunstlinie for, for example, a meeting, congress, or presentation. It is a suitable location for events for up to 2000 people!

Facilities: Kunstlinie is entirely wheelchair accessible and has infrared headphones for use by the hearing impaired.
