The La Défense business building, located in a small office park, consists of two building volumes embracing two spacious courtyards. On the outside, along the avenue and smaller streets, the facades are clad in studded aluminium sheets. The exterior contrasts sharply with the lively interior walls, where special foil in the glass creates a dynamic play of light. The integration with the urban development plan was well prepared and executed. The height of the outer walls and the intimate inner courtyards fit within that environment. The exterior walls are a response to the urban context, while the interior walls are designed with the users in mind.

The unique atmosphere of the courtyard, with its enchanting colours, creates a pleasant environment for the building's users. The calm atmosphere will benefit the third group that will occupy the building. After the Tax Office was located here, the UWV followed. In 2025, the space will be allocated to status holders who will make the transformed offices their home after a refurbishment. In 2013, two matching sculptures, Where Thoughts Are, by Ram Katzir, were installed, adding allure to the courtyard.
