Casa Casla
Casa Casla is structurally tailored to its original function as an architecture centre, with an open office floor at the top, two storage rooms, relaxation and meeting rooms and a large, sloping exhibition hall. The transparent plinth with the public spaces carries a protruding volume with a glass facade at the front. You can walk up the building from the street, because a staircase has been made from the roof, leading to a viewpoint on the protruding building section. The whole building, including the stairs and the public space around it, is clad in a special, elongated, dark brown clinker. The embedding in the public space is optimal. When the architecture centre had to disappear, various uses were tried out. From 2023, the building will be used as an office and debate centre.
