Accessibility

Almeerderstrand is easily accessible. It is right next to the A6 motorway and there is plenty of (free) parking. Almere Poort station is a 15-minute walk from the beach.

Parking & walking routes

Various parking options and routes are available for visitors to Almeerderstrand. On the south side of the beach, there is a car park where parking is free. Alternatively, there is paid parking at the Duinhal.

From Almere Poort Station, there are two routes leading to the beach. Due to the work in the area, these routes are indicated by temporary signposts. The grey route runs from Station Almere Poort along Elementendreef and leads to the southern part of the beach. The green route also runs from Station Almere Poort, but goes through Kreekbos Zuid and ends at Vis à Vis/StrandLAB.

It is important to follow the signposts for a safe and clear route to the beach.
