Almeerderstrand Festival
What began as the Open Strand Feestje has grown into the ‘ Almeerderstrand ’ Festival: a vibrant event where music, sport, culture and socialising come together. Last June, visitors enjoyed music and entertainment, whilst young and old alike took part in sporting and creative workshops, and there was plenty of space to relax by the water with a snack and a drink. A festive edition that showcased what makes the ‘ Almeerderstrand ’ so special: the space to come together, discover new things and enjoy oneself.

On Thursday 14 May and Saturday 18 July 2026, the Almeerderstrand s served as the backdrop for ‘A Day at the Beach’ and ‘Pal Mundo’ respectively. During A Day at the Beach, visitors danced to electronic music by the water, whilst Pal Mundo filled the beach with summery Latin and Caribbean sounds. Two festivals, each with its own unique character, brimming with music, fun and a wonderful festival atmosphere!
