Food workshop: A plate full
On Thursday 6 August is the fourth edition of the Eetatelier. This time at the Stadsbomerij in Oosterwold.
Here, vegetables, grain and trees come together in one landscape. A place where you see how everything is connected and where one field can be enough to fill your whole plate. Get to know different ways of growing food from Johan from the Stadsbomerij, Tineke from the city farm and Renée from the GroenteKaravaan.

About Eetatelier
Five decades, five eetateliers and endless stories about how Almere became what it is. From May to September 2026, Almeerse Weelde and Polder Parade will organise five neighbourhood dinners at special locations throughout Almere. Not a standard night out, but an evening about something. About good food, local crafts and people who make something of the city. During these evenings, everyone brings a freshly prepared meal and together we give shape to our travelling neighbourhood restaurant with a table that gets fuller, more surprising and tastier as more people join. All in honour of 50 years of Almere and 15 years of Almeerse Weelde.
From May 2026, every first Thursday of the month:
- At various locations throughout Almere
- Bring a homemade dish, drink or dessert
- Share, learn and be inspired by local residents
- Potlucks are there to share, joining costs you nothing.
When
- Thursday 6 August 2026 17.30 - 20.30 hrs.
