From 2009 to 2018, Almeerder Hans Prins organised the annual Almeerdaagse, a six-day walking event right through Almere: past modern architecture, right through the city forests and the water-rich polder landscape and, of course, past the Oostvaardersplassen. His favourite walking route of over 20 kilometres is now available to everyone. Just like the participants of the Almeerdaagse, discover how beautiful and versatile Almere is! Along the way, there are plenty of places to sit on a bench or on a terrace and enjoy the youngest city in the Netherlands.
