6x the nicest parks in Almere

The park is a lovely place to enjoy the weather and relax. You can find green parks all over Almere. We give you a hand and have listed the six nicest ones for you. Have fun!

Stadslandgoed de Kemphaan

Stadslandgoed De Kemphaan is where you can enjoy an adventurous day out in the middle of nature. Getting there by bike is easy, as it is not far outside the city. Get lost in the maze, greet the sheep at the schaapskooi, swing like a monkey through the trees at Fun Forest climbing park or discover the cows at thecity farm. The Zuiderzee Play Forest is the perfect place for a day out!

Beatrixpark

The Beatrixpark is one of Almere's larger parks and lies between Kruidenwijk and Muziekwijk. There is plenty to do here. Come for a walk, play in the playground or show off your best tricks at the skate park. A little further on, you will find the Den Uylpark with its petting zoo. A fun stop with children.

Vroege Vogelbos

Along the A6 motorway, you will find the Vroege Vogelbos, followed by het Beginbos. Did you know that this forest is named after the VARA programme "Vroege Vogels", which was recorded in (the Eksternest)? Between hiking and cycling, you can take a break here at Het Eksternest, where they definitely serve the best apple pie in Almere!

Lumière Park

Lumièrepark is located in Filmwijk, near the centre of Almere. From here, you have a great view of Almere's skyline. There is a wide path along the water where you can walk and cycle. When the temperature rises and the sun shines, the Lumièrestrandje is a nice place to cool down.

Hannie Schaftpark and Bos der Onverzettelijken

In the middle of Almere Stad you will find the Hannie Schaftpark and the Bos der Onverzettelijken, surrounding the Leeghwaterplassen. The perfect place for a walk or to relax on one of the beaches. Coming by boat? Then there are also several moorings.

Cascadepark

Almere's most unusual house can be found in the Cascadepark; the Klokhuis. The building was designed by children because of the 20th anniversary of the TV programme Het Klokhuis. How special is that! All year round, you can come here for the best children's activities and performances. In the playground of Cascadepark you can continue playing together.
