Nhung Dam is a master of storytelling. She creates worlds, puts a magnifying glass on them and then turns them into performances full of humour, poignancy, self-mockery, beautiful songs, Vietnamese music and Western rock. An evening with her is like a good conversation with friends, associating lustily: "The pleasantly loose form is highly entertaining," Scenes wrote about 'Nhung exposes herself'.
Now she continues this delightfully in 'Legend of the White Snake'. Taking you to a place of eternal mystery, to a time when anything can happen, she tells a powerful story about a woman in a hostile environment, who must survive. About a woman on a mission, ready to rewrite history and who has no choice but to become a heroine. 'Legend of the White Snake' is a warning to young men to watch out for beautiful women of unknown origin and not give in to their low desires. A thrilling evening with Nhung Dam: unusual, wonderful, whimsical, absurd, eccentric and with Nhung closer than ever.
