The Dutch Dubliners
Inspired by the legendary Irish band, the talented musicians of The Dutch Dubliners - known from Pater Moeskroen and Best of Ireland, among others - create a compelling programme full of traditional Irish and Celtic music. From a stage richly filled with traditional instruments like the fiddle and bodhrán, the group embarks on a journey full of sounds and mysticism, with renditions of the songs that have shaped and continue to colour the genre. Classics like 'Whiskey in the Jar', 'The Wild Rover', 'Seven Drunken Nights' and 'Dirty Old Town' provide recognition every time. In the nostalgic ambience of an old-fashioned Irish pub, the soul, bliss and conviviality of Irish culture come alive in a mix of rousing jigs & reels and moving ballads.
