BollyWood Masala
When you talk about Bollywood, you're talking about the biggest film industry in the world: India. And when you think of masala, you think of your favourite curry dish, flavoured with a magical blend of spices. 'BollyWood Masala' is a large-scale, English-language dance show created using the traditional 'masala movie formula'. Dance, film, comedy, romance and Indian gastronomy merge into a delicious 'meal'. The show tells the story of renowned Indian chef Mr Kari Balti, founder of on-location catering at the time the film industry was born. Director Toby Gough and choreographer Mahesh Poojary created an energetic show packed with joyful dancing, featuring over three hundred colourful costumes and hits from Bollywood films like 'Devdas', 'Lagaan', 'Dhoom' and the Oscar-winning song 'Naatu Naatu' from the film 'RRR'.

'BollyWood Masala' is also an ode to top chef Mahashay Dharampal Gulati, who, with his eternal red turban and broad smile behind his imposing moustache, built an empire with his spice business.
