From Almere to Ally
From Almere to Ally is an exhibition about 50 years of art and identity in Almere. Photographer Richard Terborg takes you on a visual journey along pioneers, makers and communities who together shaped the young city.
In this exhibition, you will discover Almere as more than a city: as a mentality. A place where people were already living, making and feeling at home while everything was still under construction. Terborg tells two inseparable stories: that of a young city that arose from nothing and that of a young migrant who found his identity, community and maturity here.
The exhibition is open from Thursday to Sunday. See also the website of the Kunstlinie.

In four thematic rooms, you will see the development of Almere and its inhabitants. From sand flats to a city full of life, from subcultures to an increasingly rich cultural scene. A special feature is a wall of forty unique canvases made by fifty Almere artists. Together they form a mosaic of voices and styles, just like the city itself.
