Kunstlinie x 2turvenhoog: Round and round (1.5 to 4 years)

'Feel free to come closer and step inside our round theatre tent. Take a seat on one of the benches and wallow in a warm world full of wonder.' Seasoned toddler-makers Karlijn Hamer and Bram van Helden take (grand)parents and their (grand)child on a round adventure. A poetic exploration with few words, full of movement, music and song.

Everything can turn in OM and OM and OM. The umbrella, the hoop, the chair, the world - and you and me! Karlijn spins around, Bram spins around and around, Karlijn can spin around and around and around. Where is Bram now? A performance for toddlers about disappearing and appearing, about reaching and grabbing, about being together - and then alone again for a while. What is gone comes back. What seems far away, comes close. Sometimes you only see something when you look back. And when the last turn is turned, the children get to spin, dance and find their own turn. Another turn?

At a research performance in the Proeftuin of 2turvenhoog festival, you will experience a unique moment in the art-making process for young children (0-6 years). A special show moment in which makers show and share their research and experiences with you for the first time. As an audience, you are the first to witness this creative development and get a look behind the scenes. An exciting and inspiring experience!
