Cabaret
Boban Braspenning
After the overwhelming success of Boban's first show 'Boompje Beestje' - "enviably good debut" (Theaterkrant) - it is time for a sequel. And that sequel is called 'BRUTO', a musical cabaret programme about extreme wealth that will probably bankrupt him. In a world where gross money is getting grosser, it is high time to take stock and reckon. With rave reviews, nominations and awards under his belt, Boban is a promise. And promise makes debt. He has to make good on it. He does so with 'BRUTO': a show in which nothing and no one is spared. It takes him to every place where the middle class is exploited in favour of big business. Exactly: all over the country!
