Fly with me
After the great success of 'De Hospita' and 'Malle Babbe', MediaLane Theatre presents a new Dutch musical: 'Vlieg Met Me Mee'. In it, a warm, cheerful and recognisable story about three generations of women is told, framed by hits by Paul de Leeuw.
Three generations of women unexpectedly end up living under the same roof again. Soon tensions between mother Dorien (Simone Kleinsma), daughter Sanne (Brigitte Heitzer) and granddaughter Bibi (Lisa Schol) mount. Old irritations and unspoken feelings soon turn the house into an emotional pressure cooker. After all, how well do you really know your family? While mother, daughter and granddaughter try to understand each other, Paul de Leeuw's songs articulate exactly what they dare not express.

In a story with humour, sharp dialogues by Lex Passchier, the writer of 'Oogappels', and directed by Joep Onderdelinden ('Foxtrot' and 'De Hospita'), old hurts are exposed and room is made for the future.
