MTB route Kotterbos Almere Buiten

(14 km)

|
|

The MTB route Kotterbos is Almere's oldest mountain bike route. It can be found in the forest of the same name, which lies against the famous Oostvaardersplassen and is part of National Park Nieuw Land. The route is 14 kilometres long and is varied with wide trails and narrow paths through swamps and deciduous forests. The route includes some artificial hills and meanders over dark forest paths with challenging singletracks full of surprising elements, such as a wooden bridge and natural obstacles made of logs.

A vignette is required for this route. It costs €7.50 per year. With the proceeds from the vignettes, the volunteers of the MTB & More foundation can again take care of the maintenance, management and expansion of all mountain bike courses in Almere in the coming year.

Visit www.mtbmore.nl for more information.

Attention! The mountain bike route at Kotterbosweg and Kotterbospad is closed on weekdays, but open on weekends.
