In the 66 houses in Almere's Eilanden neighbourhood, people have been given the chance to realise special wishes in the home. Architect Min complements the concept of warehouse and grain silo architecture with this space for input by future residents. He provides shells, with open interior spaces. These provide opportunities for a range of living and working functions, around a vertical axis with staircases connecting three floors. On the outside, windows are covered with blinds. A cladding of hardwood and dark brick completes the whole. Old typologies in a new jacket.
