The main hall of ecumenical church centre De Goede Rede has a roof in the shape of a hypar shell. On one side, the room is 21 metres high. On the opposite side 14 metres. In between, a wood-clad ceiling curves gracefully from one end to the other. On the highest side is a vertical opening in the wall in which square concrete blocks hang at equal distances from each other. Light falls in rays between the blocks. They are white on the inside, tinted dark on the outside and hold together the outer walls that have uneven heights at that corner. A stained-glass window with a dashing, upward motif brings colour to the interior. The chapel located on the other side of the wide entrance hall has a circular structure with windows in the drum. To the rear is a series of flexibly functioning rooms. A Lady Chapel was added during renovation in 2005. The striking 35-metre-high tower, which stands apart from the main building like a campanile, consists of four vertical brick surfaces with white concrete elements between them, suggesting a strong upward movement. Weekly, the carillon is played by the city carillonneurs.
