Kotterbos
The Kotterbos borders the Oostvaardersplassen in Almere. The forest consists of poplars and a wet area with rough reed beds and willow groves. Deer, foxes, hares and sometimes beavers live here. Fishermen can cast their lines in the nearby Vaart in peace and quiet. Put on your walking shoes and follow the Populierenroute (3.5 km) or the Eikenroute (5 km).
The Kotterbos has a very extensive outdoor sports infrastructure, so whether you want to take to the water in a kayak, canoe or raft, or just avoid the water during the many rope and obstacle courses, it's all there!
