Most people who unexpectedly enter this little neighbourhood are surprised by the fine atmosphere and harmonious buildings on the rolling green lawns. These are ten villas in the form of large wooden residential barns, housing three to five houses per volume. On one side, half below the houses, are the entrances, storage and parking spaces. On the other side, residents can walk straight from their living rooms into the garden landscape that curves around the houses. The owners share ownership of the gardens and also care for their maintenance.

At the ends of the residential barns, the roofs protrude far out, adding a romantic element within the clean, modernist design. The wooden cladding with a relief of vertically placed slats softens the transition between nature and architecture. Here we feel what green quality can mean in an urban environment. The park-like landscaping, with planted islands covered with wood chips between gravel and grass, makes the place truly pleasant.
