These 26 semi-detached starterswoningen in two layers, are spread over two rows, which are V-shaped around a courtyard garden. They are complemented by four flats, housed at the tip of the V. There is also the entrance door to the shared courtyard garden, where each flat has its own wooden terrace deck. The rear doors give access to a storage room with a gabled roof and a porthole, flattened against the rear façade. The shell is concrete and the front and rear facades are wooden. The most striking feature of this project is the deep red colour of the facades and the bright white mouldings around the window and door areas. The frames vary in height and width and form distinct, expressive elements. The use of wood, the red colours, the planting with small trees on hills in the courtyard garden, are reminiscent of Scandinavia. If the whole complex is painted in one go during the next maintenance, the unsightly patchwork structure of differently coloured red tones will also disappear again.
