Within walking distance are de Noorderplassen with swimming beaches and restaurant Loetje. Across the road are the Lepelaarplassen with breeding colonies and bird hide. The Oostvaardersplassen can also be reached within a few minutes. The centre of Almere Stad is a 5-minute drive away. Supermarkets are also around the corner.
