Stichting De Speelwildernis
The Speelwildernis creates interactive outdoor theatre in nature. Stories form that basis for all activities, such as workshops, children's parties, performances and play nature making. Most activities are commissioned by cooperation partners such as Stichting Stad en Natuur, Andersom Almere and De Kubus in Lelystad. Some activities are private, others publicly accessible, such as at their home base in Almere Oosterwold.
Nature inspires The Play Wilderness to tell stories, create play nature, performances and run workshops. Stories about the South Sea and further back to prehistoric times. All activities are outdoors. You smell, taste, hear and see how animals live. You feel what it is like to be an animal yourself. When it is windy and when it rains, when the sun shines and when it is already dark, playing outside is always possible. Except when it's storming or thundering.

De Speelwildernis has previously created new play areas, mostly temporary, in Waterlandsebos, Almeerderstrand, Oerbos (Weerwater) and Pampushout in Almere, among others. De Speelwildernis can also be found in Almere Oosterwold and on the schoolyards of several primary schools in Flevoland.
