Escape Route Nieuw Land is a mix between an Escape Room and a walk through nature. It is a varied route along, among others, lookout point Het Stort, the nature boulevard and along the pond. In the Escape Boxes, participants each time encounter the story of one of the team members who collectively reclaimed Flevoland. Escape Route Nieuw Land is a mix between an Escape Room and a walk through nature. It is a varied route along, among others, lookout point Het Stort, the nature boulevard and along the pond. In the Escape Boxes, participants each time encounter the story of one of the team members who collectively reclaimed Flevoland. There, they carry out tasks with materials; from thinking puzzles to laser beams.
The Escape Route can be booked as from two people: for groups of friends, family outings, for high school students or as teambuilding for colleagues. The key can be collected after booking at the food truck of Paviljoen de Oostvaarders which is temporarily located at the Nature Experience Centre. The route is about 4 kilometres, this depends on participants walking correctly in one go. Participants can call up hints along the way via the app, but this costs penalty time. If a group takes too long on this search for the complete team, Flevoland will flood again and the mission will fail.
