Create Your Own Batik – Workshop with Luna Nguyen
Discover the art of painting on fabric during this hands-on workshop, in which linen or cotton becomes your canvas.
You’ll learn how to apply hot wax using a traditional Indonesian tjanting tool to create your own patterns and designs.
You’ll discover various techniques for blending and layering colours using fabric paints and brushes. This way, you can bring your creative ideas to life directly on the fabric.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the skills to create hand-painted textiles — from elegant silk scarves and fabrics for bespoke clothing to decorative items such as cushion covers and placemats, or recycled fabrics that you can give a fresh, artistic look.
All materials are included and no experience is necessary.
