Zero Waste workshop: making pampering gifts
The festive season is just around the corner, and what could be nicer than giving something you’ve made yourself? In this workshop, you’ll discover just how easy it is to make lovely treats using pure, natural ingredients. A treat for the recipient, and good for the world around you.
What can you expect?
During this workshop, you’ll get hands-on with herbs, butters, oils and natural waxes. Katja will guide you step by step, and everything is already prepared.
- You’ll make two products: bath salts and body butter.
- You’ll be working exclusively with natural ingredients.
- You’ll take your creations home in glass jars, along with instructions on how to refill them time and time again.
- You’ll receive a collection of recipes.
- You’ll go home with your very own pampering gifts and plenty of inspiration.

About the workshop leader
The workshop is led by Katja from De Kruidengarage in Lelystad. Katja has a background in herbal medicine, orthomolecular medicine and natural nutrition. Outside her practice, she works as a herbal medicine tutor, in a shop specialising in natural products, and runs workshops in which herbs always play a central role: from seasonal and culinary workshops, first aid using herbs, to natural care products and wild foraging walks.
Katja shares her knowledge and enthusiasm for natural ingredients and shows you just how easy it is to get started yourself.
