Shepherd's hut

Once a month, Stad & Natuur invites you on Friday afternoons for an activity in Almere's oldest forest, the Vroege Vogelbos. At the beginning of the forest, Stad & Natuur has a large schaapskooi and sheep flock. In the schaapskooi you will find the shepherd's hut, where every month an activity is organised in the anniversary year 50 years Almere. Sometimes this will be a creative activity, other times a nice story or a nature activity.

Today, welcome to the Seasonal Special with forest manager Patrick and shepherd of the sheep herd Anita.

Forest manager Patrick and shepherd of the sheep flock Anita will welcome you on the following Friday afternoons for Seasonal Specials, during which they will share nature facts with you or tell stories about Stad & Natuur's sheep flock: 20-3, 26-6, 18-9, 18-12 Other Friday afternoon activities in the Herdershut: Hut full of art You will get creative with natural materials. On the following dates there will be a Hut full of art: 3-4, 17-7, 16-10

Hut full of stories Storyteller Roel will drop by on the following Fridays to surprise you with a great story in the Hut full of stories: 29-5, 7-8, 27-11

Practical information The activities in the Herdershut are free and on an open walk-in basis. BSOs are only welcome after registering in advance via educatie@stadennatuur.nl, please a week in advance.
