House of Haven museum

Step back in time with this special project in Almere Haven: Huis van Haven shows how the very first residents of Almere laid out their new town in the 1970s.

In this authentically decorated house at Schoolwerf 68, you will experience daily life back then. You will discover stories, objects and memories from Almere's pioneering days.

Why visit?

• The house is decorated in 70s style: lots of green, brown, orange, practical furniture and stories of the first residents.
• It is an accessible, cosy place in the middle of the city where past and present come together.
• You will discover how building, living and living together began in Almere - and how that still inspires today.

A different theme every month
