During the Uitfestival , Jij bent M. is launching ‘Mirage’, a new pop-up exhibition at the Forum in Almere Centrum

At a time when social media and AI are having an ever-greater influence on how we perceive reality, ‘Mirage’ poses a simple yet topical question: what is actually real?

Visual artist Elsemarijn Bruys invites you to look at the world around you with a fresh perspective. Using mirrors, light, air and movement, she plays with your perception and lets you experience just how easily your perspective can change. What happens when a space feels different from what you expected? Do you see what is really there, or mainly what you think is there?

Come in, take a closer look and prepare to be amazed.
