Together at the table

To mark 50 years of Almere, a festive Christmas dinner was organised on 19 December for senior citizens from the Almere Buiten area. During this warm evening, local residents came together to celebrate Christmas in an atmosphere of connection, attention and conviviality.

With music, a served three-course dinner and small gifts, volunteers - young and old - ensured a special evening. The dinner was festively decorated and was all about meeting, appreciation and togetherness.

Seniors and volunteers came together at the table, creating warmth and involvement between different generations. The activity visibly contributed to the mission of the anniversary year: people make the city.

Thanks to a contribution from the Almere 50 Fund, this Christmas dinner could be realised and became a successful and meaningful evening for everyone who attended.
