De Warme Winkel – Judith Westbroek is looking for a room
Hi there, I’m Judith Westbroek (26) and I’m looking for a room (or flat). Ideally, it shouldn’t be smaller than 12m², somewhere near the centre and with high ceilings. My budget is around €850. I’m friendly, tidy, quiet (at least indoors) and have just graduated.
During a fiercely satirical house-hunting evening at a commune, we whirl through perspectives, excesses and options in a world where space has become scarce. Living space, nitrogen space, breathing space, room to move. Claiming space, sharing space and the longing for habitable planets…
Judith Westbroek is looking for a room is the successful revival of the housing crisis hit show Myrte Siebinga is looking for a room, which, following a sold-out run and a performance at Lowlands, is now returning by popular demand. Myrte has since found a place to live, but the appalling conditions on the housing market continue.
