De Verleiders: Zoek Dedekking!

You pay. You remit, you invest, you sign. You trust that things will work out later. But how sure is 'sure' anymore when your retirement is finally in sight?

In Zoek Dekking! De Verleiders dive into the world behind our pensions and insurance: a universe of promises, small print, commissions and 'risk profiles' that hardly anyone really looks through...until it goes wrong. And just when the Netherlands is switching to a new pension system, the world is on fire and a new financial crisis is looming, this question becomes more urgent than ever: who is at risk, and who benefits? Because this much is certain there is an obscene amount of money being made from our pensions.

As only De Verleiders can do, Zoek Dekking! promises an evening full of satire, speed and revelations. With razor-sharp dialogue, shocking facts and scenes that are at once hilarious and painfully recognisable, they expose a system than affects us all. Because this is not about 'the industry'. This is about your future. And those of your children and parents. About what we have collectively built up and how quickly it can feel like you are ultimately on your own, including De Verleiders themselves. This time in formation with George van Houts, Tom de Ket, Victor Löw, Peter Blok and Dick van den Toorn.

De Verleiders have been a unique phenomenon for years: theatre with the urgency of cabaret, about power and money, accessible to a wide audience.

Come laugh. Come snigger. Come take cover. And go home with one question that lingers: Is our security nothing more than an illusion.
