Birds of prey in the Oostvaardersplassen Almere
A goshawk, a harrier, kestrel or maybe the bald eagle... Will you spot the special species in the Oostvaardersplassen? During this walk, together with the guide from Staatsbosbeheer, you will search for the birds of prey that occur in this unique area. You don't know in advance where the birds are, so the guide will decide on the day itself which route to take. So it may be that each walk goes through a different part of the Oostvaardersplassen, but stays on the Almere side.
From 1 January to the end of April, the walk goes through the closed area, making it extra special.
