Autumn Festival Vroege Vogelbos 2026

On Sunday 27 September from 12:00 to 16:00, Stad & Natuur will organise the annual Autumn Festival in the atmosphericVroege Vogelbos, next to the Schaapskooi at Muiderweg 8 in Almere. This year with the theme '50 years of Almere', because of course that has to be celebrated in Almere's oldest forest. Together with the Almeerse Wolunie, IVN Almere, the Eksternest and many other partners, it will be a festive day for young and old! With a programme full of workshops, children's theatre and nature experiences. The complete programme will be posted here about a month before the event.

Practical Entrance for this afternoon is free. Workshops are on payment of a strip. The strip card is available on site, 4 strips for €7.50, single strip €2.50. With the proceeds from these strip cards, Stad & Natuur can help organise the event.

Accessibility There is a limited number of parking spaces on the Muiderweg. If this is full, parking at our neighbours Ballorig and Thermen la mer is not allowed. Please park on the other side of the Dreef, in the car park between the petrol station and the Praxis. You can walk to the Eksternest via the cycle path behind the Praxis and the tunnel, which is about 750 metres. But even better: come by bike or public transport! Parking guidance is available, please follow their instructions.
