Ratelslang – Stories from Almere in poetry & spoken word

On 21 August, Ratelslang will be making its presence felt at De Nieuwe Bibliotheek Almere Haven. Ratelslang is an evening filled with poetry, spoken word and stories from young people in Almere. An open mic night offering a space for words, connections and stories that touch the heart. Meet new people and discover the power of words at this open mic night.

At Ratelslang, young artists are given the chance to make their voices heard. You’re very welcome to come along to listen, empathise, respond and meet new people. Ratelslang is for everyone: young people, local residents, language enthusiasts, curious visitors and people who have never been to a spoken word evening before.
