EveTo The Party
On Saturday 20 June 2026, Almere Buiten Centrum – stretching from Rio de Janeiroplein and Globeplein to Noordeindepad – was transformed into one big party. Visitors gathered with neighbours, friends and family to enjoy a day full of music, creativity, sport, art and fun.
To mark the 50th anniversary of Almere Buiten, the event was themed around the motto: ‘50 Years, 50 Stories, 50 Initiatives’. Throughout the shopping centre, there were market stalls run by local businesses, as well as surprise performances, workshops, children’s activities, food trucks and more. Visitors enjoyed dance, music, theatre and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
There was plenty to do for young and old alike, including bouncy castles, face painting, picnic spots, sports and games, and opportunities to meet neighbours. Visitors discovered local talent, sampled local delicacies and enjoyed a day full of energy and fun.
Together, they made it a party to remember.
