AWE are playing J.J. Cale

On Saturday evening, 28 November, the Almere-based duo Awe will be performing at the Cultuurhuis Almere Buiten.

Awe’s repertoire consists of carefully crafted covers of songs by various artists. During their performance at the Cultuurhuis, the volume will be turned up a notch and the focus will be on the timeless work of J.J. Cale: laid-back, groovy blues, country and pop. Awe performs their music with great finesse and a unique twist of their own, which blends beautifully with the catchy songs by Eric Meindersma, which are also on the programme. Under the name Telejazzman, Eric has now recorded around 60 CDs of his own music, ranging from jazz, pop and blues to rock. Awe stands for Antoine (Voorbach) with Eric (Meindersma / Telejazzman). Over the past 12 years, the duo has specialised in performing at dinners, receptions and drinks parties.
