Kaboom Anime and Planet Allycon present All You Need Is Kill
It all began in 2004 with Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s Japanese sci-fi light novel. Ten years later, adaptations appeared in the form of a manga series, an American graphic novel and the Hollywood blockbuster *Edge of Tomorrow*; and now, an anime directed by Kenichiro Akimoto. Each time, the story begins anew, but with a slight twist.
Funnily enough, this is also the premise of All You Need Is Kill, a cross between Groundhog Day (1993) and a video game: every time you die, your day starts all over again, but each time with a little more knowledge of what’s about to happen (something to do with an alien and the total destruction of the Earth).
