David van Rosmalen
David van Rosmalen was born over 16 million minutes ago. Since then, he has had questions and sought answers. In 'If I were you', he makes the audience part of that philosophical journey of discovery through his life. David looks back at the choices that made him who he is today and asks himself: could I have chosen differently? Because he can do what he wants, but could he have wanted differently? And does he actually know what he wants?
In 2025, David won the student, audience and jury prize at the Leids Cabaret Festival. "An intelligent mixture of (word) jokes, spoken word, piano songs and humble hip-hop," observed the Volkskrant and immediately proclaimed Van Rosmalen as Comedy Talent of 2026.
