Final day at the Huis van Haven Museum House
Huis van Haven is closing its doors – We will bring the Almere anniversary year to a close on 29 November 2026.
On 29 November 2025, the Museum House was officially opened to mark Almere’s 50th anniversary. For a whole year now, the countless visitors have unanimously expressed their appreciation for the Museum House as an experience.
The anniversary year has flown by.
Now, exactly one year later, we will unfortunately be closing our doors on Sunday 29 November 2026. This will be the last day you can visit the Museum House. From 11.00 to 17.00. Free of charge.
So, round up your friends, grandads, grandmums, aunts, uncles, neighbours, (grand)children and pop round (one more time), because before you know it, it’ll be too late. And you won’t want to miss this trip down memory lane!
Will we see you there too?
A free feel-good day out.
A free cup of coffee is always on offer

Music: in the afternoon, Hans and Betty van Oort (Het Pineutje) will provide the musical entertainment with their living-room barrel organ. They’ll liven up this festive closing day with cheerful songs, many of which are sure to be from the seventies.
