Creative Writing Course - 3 Workshops (Intermediate)

Do you want to take your writing more seriously and explore your creativity more deeply? This 3-part writing course is designed for anyone who wants to further develop their writing skills and dive deeper into storytelling.

During three inspiring mornings you will work with different writing techniques, exercises and assignments. The course offers practical tools to strengthen your ideas, shape your stories and further discover your own writing voice.

For whom is this course?

Adults who speak Dutch well and are interested in creative writing.
Some writing experience may be useful, but is not required.

What will you learn?

During this course you will:

• Develop your creativity with guided writing exercises
• Learning how to turn ideas into strong stories
• Practice with different writing techniques and narrative forms
• Working on characters, atmosphere and storylines
• Giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Discover and develop your own writing voice

Group size

To ensure a personal and interactive experience, the group is limited to 6-12 participants.

About the teacher

Ilse Ruijters wrote five psychological thrillers, four of which have won awards. She also writes non-fiction books, articles and columns.

Besides her work as an author, Ilse gives writing courses: business writing courses for companies and creative writing workshops for organisations and individuals.

Her workshops are interactive, fun and inspiring. In an honest and supportive way, she encourages participants to get the best out of themselves and discover their own writing voice.
