Martijn Koning
Stage performer Martijn Koning always shows great interest in the animal kingdom. For instance, an ant, a cricket and a monkey played a major role in his previous performance 'A monkey that doesn't eat bananas' and noted the Volkskrant: "How nice Martijn Koning is when he takes us on an expressive flight from de realiteit towards the animal kingdom."
In 'Overexcited', he tries to escape reality with a hedgehog. The creature puts up its spines when danger threatens. It rolls itself up into a little ball, a miniature pad, protecting anything soft on the inside. What do you do when you get overexcited? From the world, politics, from mundane everyday events? Then come and spend an evening with Martijn!
