Following an accident, Vera finds herself in a life she no longer recognises. Meeting Xander opens up a whole new world for her, but also forces her to choose who she wants to be.
Vera (23) lives for freedom and adventure, until an accident radically changes her life. At a rehabilitation centre, she must not only learn to cope with her new body, but also say goodbye to the life she once knew. She meets 22-year-old Xander. He introduces her to a community where disabilities do not need to be hidden. As their friendship grows ever closer, Vera must decide how she wants to shape her new reality.
