Goede Rede Klassiek: Noia Trio
With romantic intensity and Spanish flair, the Noia Trio brings a rich piano trio programme to Almere. Music by Brahms, Rachmaninoff and Turina takes a surprising turn with Paul Schoenfield's sparkling Café Music.
The Noia Trio is a young and energetic piano trio from Zwolle, consisting of three Spanish musicians. Violinist Almudena Bujanda, cellist Clara Sánchez and pianist Ana Marco met at the ArtEZ Conservatoire and formed an ensemble in 2023.
What connects them is not only their Catalan background, but especially a shared musical vision. They enjoy exploring a wide range of works; from established classics to lesser-known gems. The ensemble is characterised by intense ensemble playing and a distinct sound. The Noia Trio won the audience award at the final of the ArtEZ Chamber Music Sessions 2024.
