Mural Poort Social

During Poort Sociaal's Tomato Soup Festival on 13 June 2026, Almere's 50th anniversary will be celebrated with the realisation of a permanent mural for the neighbourhood. This artwork will be designed and created together with residents - with and without disabilities, of different ages and backgrounds - as a gift to the city.

This initiative will give the festival an extra festive and meaningful dimension. The mural will become a visible symbol of connection, inclusiveness and togetherness in Almere Poort. In this way, the Tomato Soup Festival is not only a day full of encounters and conviviality, but also a moment when something is built together that will remain visible and valuable to the community for years to come.
